In the next 10 days, the LFRPOA will be sending out invoices for the fees being charged by the POA for the responsibilities and maintenance needs not covered by the sanitary district. These fees are separate, and in addition to, the sanitary district tax. These fees are payable to the LFRPOA and not to the county.
The budget has been revised several times while the LFRPOA BOD tried to determine what the county would be taking care of. The county asked that the lake and dam areas be turned over to them as the responsible owner. The LFRPOA BOD determined that giving ownership of the lake and dam areas to the county is not in the best interests of the community; therefore, the LFRPOA BOD will continue to maintain these areas.
The budget will be included with the invoices and a 4 month payment plan will be offered in lieu of the previous 10 month plan due to the smaller amount of the lot fees.
The fee is $100 per lot and is due by March 1st, 2017. Any member needing a payment plan will need to fill out the form enclosed with their invoice and return it by March 1st along with the first installment.
