LFRPOA Board of Directors Meeting Minutes
Chester Gap Fire House
Front Royal, Va.
Saturday, December 15, 2018
Call to order: Ms. MacMillan called the meeting to order.
BOD in attendance: Erin MacMillan, Chair; Charles Gornowich, Vice-Chair; Kenneth Harvey, Secretary; James Barnes; also present were Robert Hooker and Bruce Hunter Lake Front Royal POA Board Members, and Robert Roush.
Quorum Met: Yes
Adoption of Agenda- Additions or Deletions
On a motion by Ms. MacMillan, seconded Mr. Gornowich, and by the following vote, the Advisory Committee adopted the agenda as presented.
Aye: Barnes, Gornowich, Harvey, MacMillan
Action Items
Seating of new POA officers- Elected Seats
On a motion by Ms. MacMillan, seconded by Mr. Barnes, and by the following vote, Mr. Roush was seated as President of the Lake Front Royal Property Owners Association.
Aye: Barnes, Gornowich, Harvey, MacMillan
On a motion by Ms. MacMillan, seconded by Mr. Gornowich, and by the following vote, Mr. Barnes was seated as Vice-President of the Lake Front Royal Property Owners Association.
Aye: Barnes, Gornowich, Harvey, MacMillan
On a motion by Mr. Harvey, seconded by Mr. Barnes, and by the following vote, Ms. MacMillan was seated as Treasurer of the Lake Front Royal Property Owners Association.
Aye: Barnes, Gornowich, Harvey, MacMillan
On a motion by Mr. Barnes, seconded by Mr. Gornowich, and by the following vote, Mr. Harvey was seated as Secretary of the Lake Front Royal Property Owners Association.
Aye: Barnes, Gornowich, Harvey, MacMillan
Vacant Seats
On a motion by Mr. Barnes, seconded by Ms. MacMillan, and by the following vote, Mr. Gornowich was seated as Board Member of the Lake Front Royal Property Owners Association.
Aye: Barnes, Gornowich, Harvey, MacMillan
On a motion by Mr. Gornowich, seconded by Mr. Barnes, and by the following vote, James Spurlock, Jr was seated as Board Member of the Lake Front Royal Property Owners Association.
Aye: Barnes, Gornowich, Harvey, MacMillan
One position will be posted to the community as an open board seat.
Review Insurance
Insurance Documentation and Policies were not presented, there was discussion and Robert Hooker stated that he would commit to get all documentation to Bob Roush and Kenneth Harvey by Saturday, December 22, 2019.
Review Property Owners Association Fees
Mr. Hooker and Mr. Hunter stated that there was currently not a budget in place for 2019 and the newly elected board would need to discuss that.
Review Dam insurance and Upkeep
Mr. Hooker and Mr. Hunter stated that they would need to get that information over to the new board along with all other contracts.
It was noted that the Property Owners Association will meet again on January 7th, to begin transition, after all documentation was made available.
The meeting was adjourned by Ms. MacMillan.
